Bringing Leaves to Life

At Salamander Arts we explore many modalities of creative expression, including animating leaves! In our “Sound and Movement” class we brought leaves to life through character design, developing backstories, and constructing miniature stages. This project spanned the course of a couple weeks, and culminated in a puppet play showcase.

Through our leafy creations we got to expand our awareness of the fall season, empathize with natural elements, and imagine stories of all kinds: from love stories to tragedies and spooks.
