Art and Activism

In our “Weaving Wilderness” class at Salamander arts we tuned into one of art’s greatest purposes: inspiring and creating change! We often discuss what we love about nature and our environment, and today we became extra purposeful in brainstorming and creating demonstration messages to broadcast. We started by examining and discussing activist art posters and then though and talked about some environmental issues we’re aware of. While we worked on our messages we chatted about causes from the local to the global.
