Creating Collage Characters

Friends in our Weaving Wilderness class merged collage and puppet-making to create fantastical creations today! We used images of animal features, scales, and furs, googley eyes, and plarn scraps to invent 2D and 3D characters.

Along the way friends introduced word bubbles, added accessories, and began to brainstorm backstories their puppets. We chatted about our ongoing theater production of “Squirrelville” and what roles our puppets will take on in our next iteration of the play.
