Full Circle at Children’s Hospital

I am so grateful to be expanding my somatic healing practice to providers in the medical field!

I first became interested in creative healing practices in high school, through assisting with mosaic-making and other healing arts workshops in children's hospitals. Seeing the way art opened up possibilities for patients was totally awe-inspiring. I still remember the tears of joy and surprised laughter from caregivers witnessing these workshops… seeing a child move, or relax, in ways they never had before.

In December, I led a workshop for the Integrative Health Team at Children’s Hospital Philadelphia, supporting these incredible professionals to nurture groundedness for themselves and their patients/patient families through embodied awareness practices.

We had such rich discussions about how to cultivate presence in yourself as a practitioner - not only encouraging patients and clients to do so. And I loved seeing everyone take the opportunity to dive in and relax together.

Feels like full circle, and I’m looking forward to more.
